What is traveltech?

Traveltech is the term for technology-enabled companies offering services and products focused on travel, tourism and hospitality.

We bring together a growing community of over 200 traveltech organisations with the tourism and hospitality sector to innovate and shape the future of travel.

Community

We connect and convene the vibrant Scottish traveltech community. We do this to help traveltech businesses collaborate, share wisdom and learn from each other. Whether you’re a scaling traveltech business, a new traveltech startup or a tourism company dabbling in tech, we will help you make the right connections.

Our digital community platform is our own online space to facilitate conversations and introductions, and signpost opportunities. We also host a fortnightly traveltech community call and support businesses via meetings, workshops and events.

Marketplace

We are cultivating a marketplace for Scottish traveltech products, helping tourism and hospitality organisations find the technology that they need to succeed.

We have created a digital traveltech directory to showcase Scottish Traveltech solutions. We have also built an online course to equip tourism and hospitality businesses with the skills to navigate the traveltech marketplace.

Our industry activities include ways to facilitate consumer feedback on early innovative traveltech ideas and share the technology challenges that the tourism sector faces.
